马赛国际电影节

    其前身为国际纪录片电影节。我们知道最近纪录类影片的边缘定义已经被改变了许多，国际纪录片电影节通过模糊界限和消除限制，令这一类别变得更能兼收并蓄。纪录片电影的任务，就是在各种情况下，把语言和现实完美转换为电影，这在以前是无法想象的。这全要仰仗于艺术：证明的艺术；而且这项艺术需要利用其所能支配的所有资源，无论这些资源是来自电影——来自电影技术和电影历史——或者是来自于艺术、科学或政治，都不重要，重要的是转换的准确性和关联性。扩大这些转换以增加我们与这个世界的密切关系，这样一个计划——可以理解为——是一项进展中的工作，开放且令人鼓舞。

    纪录类影片是马赛国际纪录片电影节的艺术家们选择的核心，被冠以“证明艺术”，在形式上没有要求，电影节欢迎那些在不同艺术形式之间横向驰骋的影片和艺术家们。从2007年开始，电影节就在官方选片单元坚定地欢迎剧情电影和纪录片电影。

    2011年，马赛国际纪录片电影节展映了大约170部影片，其中多数为国际首映，丰富的展映栏目包括官方选片（国际竞赛、国内竞赛、处女作影片竞赛）、平行展映、圆桌讨论等；23000名观众在马赛市中心10多个不同地点观看了展映。

    如今，马赛国际电影节不只接受纪录片，还接受来自世界的各类型影片。

FIDLAB纪录片实验室

    从2009年开始，马赛国际纪录片电影节也同时组织国际合作平台：FIDLab纪录片实验室。FIDLab纪录片实验室为来自世界的电影项目提供了一个商讨的场所，为电影人们提供了一个与制片商、发行商、国际销售商、赞助商和媒体建立有效联系和关系网络的机会。

    每年会选出10个国际项目，对形式、长度或主题不作具体要求，剧情片和纪录片都有涵盖，无论影片是处在剧本创作阶段、拍摄中或已经拍摄完成。

    FIDLab纪录片实验室将持续两天——影像和口述介绍之后，会有一对一的会面。

    区别于纯粹做推广的市场或平台，FIDLab纪录片实验室为专业观众提供一个机会，不仅可以看到具体的影像（实地、试映、第一版），还可以看到抽象的艺术影响和电影影响，这些影响可以使我们更好地理解拍摄中的作品。

    在一个多样化的国际环境里，FIDLab纪录片实验室的目标是强化项目选择，不仅强调项目的艺术和创作质量——这符合马赛国际纪录片电影节的指导精神——同时也为了项目的国际发展潜力和市场销售前景。

FIDMARSEILLE

We know that recently the frontiers of the documentary genre have been pretty well modified. In softening its lines and in erasing its limitations, the FID has enabled this genre to become more porous. This is documentary cinema’s job: to invent for each situation the best film translation of a language and a reality heretofore unimagined. This demands nothing less than an art: the art of testimony. And this art would take advantage of all resources at its disposal. Whether these resources come to it from the cinema—from its techniques and its history—or whether they come to it from the arts, sciences or politics doesn’t matter; the only thing that matters is the accuracy and relevance of the translation. To multiply these translations in order to increase our affinity with the things of this world, such a project, it’s understood, is a work in progress, both open and encouraging. 

The documentary genre is at the center of the FIDMarseille’s artistic choices. Championed like an art of testimony with no requirement as to format, the festival welcomes films and artists who play with the transversality of the arts.  Since 2007, the festival has taken the decisive step of welcoming in the official selection fiction films alongside documentaries. 

In 2011, FIDMarseille presented about 170 films; for the most part these were films making their international premieres in a rich program made up of the official selection (international competition, national competition, competition of first films), parallel screens, round tables, etc.

23000 audience members attended the screenings, in more than 10 different locations in the city centre of Marseille.

FIDLAB

Since 2009, FIDMarseille also organizes an international platform for coproduction: FIDLab. FIDlab offers a meeting place for discussing film projects selected from all over the world, in order to offer film-makers an opportunity to make useful contacts and network with producers, distributors, international sales agents, sponsors, and broadcasters.

Each year 10 international projects are selected, chosen with no specific format requirements regarding format, length, or subject matter, and including both fiction and documentary films whether they are at the writing stage, in production, or post-production.

FIDLab lasts for two days - visual and oral presentations are followed by one-to-one meetings.

Different from a market or a platform purely for promotion, FIDLab offers the professional audience a chance to see not only images (locations, rushes, first edits) but also artistic and film influences that may increase our understanding of the work in progress.

In a diverse, international context, FIDLab aims to reinforce projects chosen not only for their artistic and creative qualities, which coincide with the FIDMarseille’s editorial ethos, but also for their international potential and market accessibility.

电影节单元 Entry categories :

    马赛国际电影节，以向专业人士、媒体和广大观众展映影片来推动电影产业。

    长片和短片电影（剧情片和纪录片）可以提交申请。电影人可以提交多部作品，但每个电影人只能有一部影片入选“官方选片”。

    影片会被选出参与以下专门单元：

- 官方选片：国际竞赛，法国竞赛，处女作竞赛；

- 非竞赛平行单元：回顾，主题展映，圆桌讨论，以及所有特别展映。

The Marseille International Documentary Film Festival is organized to promote cinema by presenting films to professionals, media and the public audience.

 Long and short films, fiction and documentary, may be submitted for selection. Filmmakers may enter several works, though only one film per filmmaker can be selected for the official selection.

Films will be selected to participate in specific programs:

- Official Selection (International Competition, French Competition, First Films Competition)

- Non Competitive Parallel Programs (retrospectives, thematic screenings, round tables, and all special screenings)
